Description

Another cover song, so to speak. I ripped all samples using VirtualDJ Home from the song “Crazy” composed by Willie Nelson, recorded by Patsy Cline and released in late 1961 (album Showcase With the Jordanaires). Known to many (incl. myself) from the GTA.

When I had first finished working with this bit and abandoned it (like 2 years ago) it had only generic samples from libraries and those ripped from “Crazy” in it.

For no reason I’ve returned to “Crazy” few weeks ago, re-worked it and played some tracks - bass, FMpiano, the true piano (the ‘ping’ sound), background warm pad, not much really.

Please enjoy taking a step into insanity

Nice chillout. Can you explain what this crossover genre means? I'm thinking to narrow down the list of genres 'cause there are too many of 'em. 9 from me. Always enjoyable.
  • Thanks man.
I was in trouble picking the genre. If 'mixing' was still available I'd pick it. As it's not I went crossover of hip-hop and mixing.
  • cool. nice bass. i like atmosphere.
  • I like this very much. Cool use of sampling, nice sounding. Great work on arrangements and build. 10
PS : this sounds to me more like trip-hop...
