- Many years ago, in mid 80th, being a kid, at one of the summer evenings i was watching a concert on Soviet TV, there were few electronic bands playing live electronic music. It was really futuristic show - weird guys, playing strange atari-like sequences, with bleeps and heart-touching beats of drum-machines. There was one guy, wearing a hat, with a catchy vocal... Years passed by, computers, internet. I've found BUZZ and was uploading all my stuff on mp3.com. One day a man got in touch with me, suggesting to release one of my tracks on his label. We have met, i gave him my cd with burned material. And while talking to him, I suddenly realized, this man was that guy in a hat from 80th. It was Alexander Yakovlev (Biokonstruktor), the Soviet / Russian synthpop pioneer. We became friends, and i was remixing some of his tracks. So this tune - is my remix of BIO's track "Ostrova" (Islands), released in 2005 on S.E.T.1 compilation (remix was done in 2004).
