My unofficial version of Depeche Mode single, produced by Tim Simenon.
I have focused on the beat, especially on the kick. There is more heavy bass-line in the original; i have more atmospheric bass but more accented kick-drum, as well few percussions loops - it gives more trip-hop touch to my version, I think.
All instruments / sounds have been created from scratch. Pads and drones (there are plenty of'em) - VST Serum, Dune 2, Spectral.
Guitar in the couplet - Prominy V-Metal, clean, with no distortion, routed thru Waves GTR 3 cabinet. For the riff in the bridge I used Real Strat, heavily FXed.
