Description
I tried to make a track using my new MIDI-to-USB cable.
It doesn't sound that good because I experienced some timing problems.
The original recordings were quite messy.

I guess pornamento just has to sound sexy, doesn't it? sounds like game background music to me.
  • The strings actually sound fairly good quality for midi, but the horns sound kind of poo.
  • These aren't MIDI instruments, Cryptowen. The score is recorded live. It's me playing my keyboard. All the instruments are part of East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold Edition. A 30GB sample library. The description isn't fully accurate. The Solo Flute is actually a clarinet. And the horns are Sustain-Mellow. :p Its conical bore (as opposed to the cylindrical bore of the trumpet or trombone) is largely responsible for its characteristic tone, often described as "mellow".
  • Summarized: The horns rock. They are supposed to sound like that when they're played 'mellow'.
  • Well that's embarrassing...I think going in expecting midi sounds must of clouded my judgment.
