I would suggest a long sweeping pad that is heavy on free harmonics. I would use something like an Infector ran through Chorpse with some feedback. Run an automated LFO from the infector for some hoover effect. Don't use the kind that is tick dependant. Make lfo sweeps manually while recording.

looks like you did something like this with lots of reverb but you shoulda done it sooner and with less reverb. Lay your dry signal on top and only use enough reverb to surround it.

If your not going to keep the interest with a melody then you must keep the song textures evolving. Remember this and you can't go wrong but by no means is this bad it's a wonderful start to a great track. Just needs a little extra things to make it stand out.
