- This song was written and mixed entirely on September 11, 2011, the ten year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The track is written at 170 bpm, but features parts where the kick and snare fall on the the 5 and 10, faking a half time beat at 136. The smashing together of beats refers not only the physical impact of huge objects that occurred ten years ago, but to the symbolic collision of cultures that that act represented.
The track was produced entirely in Buzz, with an Audacity edit on the outro.
