Description
I dunno, I guess I should put this down as IDM but I hate that term, I was really just trying to make some sounds like on Cavalcade but not fast thunkchunk stuff, more just the smoothness of it and trying to make cheap drum machines sound cool

I agree. The term IDM Intelligent Dance Music seems so incorrect. Because a lot "idm" music is not danceable. And a lot of musicians don't do anything intelligent with the track, rather they let automation randomly control the beats. So it could be called Artificially Intelligent Random Beat Music or AIRBM. Maybe we could come up with a better term and let the one click producers keep the IDM term. I like the beginning synth it is very spacious. The retriggered drum at 19 seconds comes in a little loud. The pianoid suites the song nicely and carries it on toward the ending. The retriggered hihat at the ending is pretty cool. I thing maybe it should be featured in the song more. Damn those frappuccinos. Maybe some cutoff effects or phaser on some sections would help give more variation without having to reprogram more patterns. I liked it especially compared to a lot of mainstream music in this field. It has a nice spooky feel.
