I remember I had my first bassguitar in 1983 that had the same colours as the one from Jaco Pastorius, but I couldn't really play it yet... I turned into a les claypool "Primus" bassguitarist ... The kind that people don't want in a band, ha ha... but they still really liked me to play on a jam session a few years ago, that was fun to do They even made recordings. I was surprised it turned out so well without touching the bass for years.
