Description
Are you all ready for warm summer nights?  I know I am!  Different kinda tune for a change.  I recently purchased a korg volca keys and this song is where I break it in.  If your wondering this little synth is all analog and sounds pretty amazing for 150 bucks.  I used it to make some trippy acid lines you here in the song and some 5th stabs.  It's dirty and unpredictable as a real analog would be.

Here is my gear list

Battery - Dubby drums
Volca Keys - Acid trippy resonance synth
Volca keys - 5th stabs
Absynth & guitar rig for spaced out pads
Massive - Chord sequence using reaper to automate modulations that are triggered by the kick
U-he  Diva Trumpet sort of synth lead with jazz line
U-he Diva Low bass groovin with the percussion.

About 90 % of what you here is live overdub playing.  I made it my aim to be organic and natural as possible.

  • It's got this spiritual flow. Wonderfull. Working through ways you're exploring.
It's 9 minutes, but doesn't get boring at all.. repeatidly playing it instead.
Working ideas to make music has become one with making music itself.
  • Vacuum thank you for the thoughtful comments.  I'm impressed with your music too.  I think you too have a raw spiritual flow to your music.  Your music is so well felt that the warts don't matter and just seem to give a since of human touch.  I set out to do the same here.  I did the melody in one take on the keys.
  • Ha ha, reason to understand english better is buzz, forum, messageboard,
but I still had to google a bit to understand the "warts" sentence

Doing things in one take.. I am not good at that, I always need a lot of editing,
but maybe I should try more (it's a pain). But your melody sounds good.
