Description
De Achtste Dag translated as The Eight Day is a small trailer project of one of my friends. (Mauro Vos)
He did a great job. I just grabbed his quick edit of the current footage he recorded and started injecting some music.

The mastering didn't go too well but I am still pleased with the final result. Note: The drum loops were stolen from the FLStudio dir. :P

Great stuff. Excellent dramatic intro. What did you use ? Soundfonts, vst or loops ? I know for drums but all other ? Thanks!
  • Hey Magma! Thanks for you comment. I used a VST library called East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold Complete. It is a pretty expensive library, about 500 EUR. The guitar samples come from EWQL Goliath. Goliath is about 300 EUR. If you're interested, I can tell you it's a dahm good instrument library. They also have DXi support I think and a standalone version. Works on Mac as well.

Hi Anicator, really well done. I remember some 'time ago you were constantly looking for the final symphonic sounds, sounds that were able to give you ample opportunity. Well, I really think that your research has been really good, feeling the results. Very good.
  • Cool teaser! It does it's job ...I find it at 0.19 a bit empty. It's a little sudden how you take out the orchestra stuff. The spooky effect in the endling is awesome!
  • I suggest you checkout the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EW-ZDdUYjo (Buzzmusic might cut up the URL, if so here's the code 3EW-ZDdUYjo)
  • Man, that's totally awesome! That bassline and the beat. Wow in other words ))
  • Listening to some of my older creations are we Shytan.
I once realised how much this track and Concrete Jungle sound a like. A few weeks ago I kept on player either one of the tracks after the other because they mixed together so well. :P
    Thanks for ya comment.

Yeah, I'm regularly surfin' through the tunes database to pick up titles for the podcast and sometimes comment stuff that left an impression. That brings good tracks to the top of latest commented allowing more ppl to review them.

This little piece has caught my attention. Short, but a must-download.
  • Maybe I should create an extended/full track.
