magmavander, I have a ideal about limitation of headphone mixing, tell me if this sounds right to you, most head phone the bass frequency response is about 20Hz,so when mixing (mastering) cut anything under 20Hz with the eq , because if you can't hear it you can't master it. just a passing ideal

I see what you mean. It's right about the 20Hz, even right with some very very high frequencies. It's a problem nowadays because lot of people are listening music with headphones and from one headphone to another a song can sounds differently.
That why the people doing mastering and mixing are engineer
