Description

I based this on the theme of "Tales From The Crypt" original HBO tv series. It is a mixture of the original feel but transitions between melodic and semi-dark. It is geared toward making a dance/trance version of the theme.

Very interesting sound. I like a lot those filter effects at 01:20. But for my taste in many points there are many notes that don't fit well togheter. Anyway there are many interesting point that would be good to further develop . Try to work again on it and if i can suggest, try to get help from some friend that know musical theory. (for the harmonic relations between notes). Hope this my suggestion don't offend you.

This one used samples and synths. It was difficult to give the synths vibrato for a spooky-ish feel and still maintain in tune with the samples used. Other times like toward the end of the song the delay overlaps a little long and some notes do not jive. Those few were intentional but I knew a few points were off. I had spent a lot of time on post editing and didn't have time to re apply the filters and such after a remake. Compos are helpful when trying to develop a set genre in a limited amount of time. No offense taken.

Creepy! An interesting song I agree. Sometimes, especially in the intro, sounds are all melted together. Maybe try to use distortion/degrader on each instrument but on some different freqs. I like how it evolves after. You have something very good here but I also think that some more work is needed. Keep on the good work
