Description
Hello y'all

TAOKAB and the incredible "Dr. Sound" bring you some more buzzmusic.

This time I did a recording of real acoustic instruments with the "good old buzz".

In this track I used a minimal ers-drumset with kick, snare, hh and a blue filter.

The other stuff are real instruments:

- electric bass with dry amplification and sometimes with buzz flanger effect,

- electric guitar with some VST FreeAmp,

- acoustic guitar with some halyVerb on it, without any amplification,

- and last but not least a real mandolin.

This one is dedicated to my grandfather.

The sound of his mandolin, which he bought himself as a young man, will stay alive.

There are good ideas, and individually the various instruments are not so bad, the problem is the confusion created when playing together and everyone is a little out of time from the base of the battery. Do not throw anything away, live recordings of real instruments have always something special, try to arrange a little the time sync problem, but you should probably re recordings the various parts with a base drum track that acts as a metronome. Go Taokab.

Woah, what an amazing recording quality! Which equipment did you use for the sound recording? I like especially the mandolin sound, even if it is rhythmically not 1000 percent . The a-guitar could be a even better without the reverb.
  • The first voting for one of my tracks. I'm deeply impressed by your comments and votings, even if the "Smolensk things" don't let my heart get real happy.
  • Wow! Great stuff. I dig the mandolin sound, you use it very well here. Of course the rythm is a bit chaotic but this is what gives the charm of the song Thanks to share!! Just for you : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYYbK2sDaJ4
