  • Fun track, it's too bad you can't tag a track with 'ambient techno' though, because ambient to me suggests it's beatless
  • maybe psybient could be fine? not sure hehe, thank you anyway
  • Just wonderful!!
  • thank you mag
  • oh wow.....love this!
  • Ragnar....  amen, ambient , to me, is no drums....all pads and arpeggios.  some flutes maybe....or choirs.....This is something for the admin though....not the artist
  • Sorry, let me clarify.  "Ambient" music is, in my mind, the sounds that are either immediately local and recorded live....or are synthetic and designed to emulate an environment generally associated with sound one would imagine are realistic in a sci fi kind of environment.   It's sometimes hard to distinguish between this genre and " new age" music.  At least....that's how I see it.
  • I'd love to hear others opinions on this as well.  I'm not set in stone on this definition.
  • All that being said,   this a great song.....
  • Ambient = no beats , basta fix. I can remember ,that Jenny sent here on comments, time ago,the link where was  thousands genres and sub-genres there.Thank you Dave.
  • Consider a band like Depeche Mode. When you ask different people to categorize their music, you'll likely receive a wide variety of labels, including new wave, post-punk, alternative rock, synth-pop, electronic rock, dark wave, industrial music, pop. So, who is right or wrong? The truth is, they are all right. How a person defines a band's genre isn't about a single correct answer. It's subjective and depends on many different factors, including - Culture: What music was popular in their region or community when they were growing up. Age and Personal History: When did they first discover the band? Someone who heard Depeche Mode in an 80s new wave club has a very different perspective than someone who found them on a 90s alternative rock station. The Band's Evolution: Which album or era of the band are they most familiar with? Depeche Mode's early work is very different from their heavier 90s material or their more recent albums. Their "Gateway" Song: The very first song a person hears from a band often frames their entire perception of them. What They Listen For: Is the person focusing on the electronic production (synth-pop), the guitar riffs (alternative rock), the moody atmosphere (dark wave), the lyrical themes (post-punk), or the chart success (pop)?"
